When thinking about creating a spooky skeleton monster, my mind thought about what it's goal might be.

So I figured: What if it can only manifest in the world if someone thinks something IS lurking in the shadows? So being cautious and staring it down sends it forcibly back to wherever it came from, and if it catches you, it doesn't hurt you (directly), but instead drags you around, yells loudly and your terror allows it to linger in the world long after you've fled in sheer panic after breaking free.

And hiding in those robes is more bones that make it so it's arms can stretch out 4x as much as it looks in this drawing.

So the promotion would probably be 'You scream for me, your house gets a new roommate.'
Long story short: Don't get grabbed by the Ghoulies. @_@
